Mrs Sladen is all set to conduct auditions for this year’s musical production, which will take place on 18, 19 and 20 December.
Auditions will be held on Tuesday 11 July after school in the Drama Hall for any students, in any year group, who would like to be considered for a role, big or small.
Auditionees need to prepare a song from a musical (any you like, as long as there is a backing track available on YouTube) that they will perform just to staff involved in the production in a ‘closed’ audition. It would be great if auditionees could choose a song that also allows them to showcase their acting skills too. Students will be free to leave when they have completed their audition, beginning with Year 7 students first.
There will be a separate meeting/audition for students who wish to be involved in dancing and backstage work in the new academic year. If there are any questions please don’t hesitate to contact Mrs Sladen in the Drama Hall.
