English

Students are answering some comprehension questions and writing two PEA paragraphs on ‘Of Mice and Men’. They had revision lessons before half term and were asked to learn key vocabulary over half term. 

Maths

Mainly content covered in Year 9 with one or two Year 8 topics – info on Google Classroom.

Science

No end of year exam – students are doing three assessments this term on B1 Cells, P1 Energy and C1 Atomic Structure.

MFL - German

KS3 – We will be doing a writing paper on all topics covered this year using both a photo-card task as well as translation from the target language into English.

MFL - French

KS3 – We will be doing a writing paper on all topics covered this year using both a photo-card task as well as translation from the target language into English.

Geography

Knowledge test on all topics covered during the year, including key terms from previous year. Knowledge organiser and revision material on Google Classroom.

History

The exam contains a mixture of short answer questions testing all knowledge covered this year. Students have been provided with an exam knowledge organiser for revision.

Religious Education

KS3 covering all topics – each out of 50 marks. Revision resources and topics on Google Classroom.

Music

No end of year exam – students assessed throughout the year.

PE

No end of year exam – students assessed throughout the year.

Drama

No end of year exam – students assessed throughout the year.
