Improvement works

The building project to deliver improvements to the dining hall, toilets and other areas across school begins on site on Monday. Whilst the bulk of the work will take place over the summer, we need to start a certainΒ amount of the work now in order to get everything completed ready for September. Inevitably this will cause some disruption but we will be taking a range of measures to make sure it doesn’t affect the GCSE exams and impacts as little as possible on other students’ learning. Those of you who have been around long enough to remember previous projects will know just how resilientΒ and adaptable students and staff at Millthorpe can be in such circumstances and also, hopefully, what a huge difference the finished product makes to students’Β experienceΒ in the future. If you do have any questions or concerns, please let us know.
