Key Stage 3 Curriculum

The curriculum for Key Stage 3 is based on a two week timetable with 50 one hour long lessons, five hours per day.

The following subjects are taught throughout Key Stage 3:

• English
• Maths
• Science
• Modern Foreign Languages**
• Art
• Design Technology*
• History
• Geography
• Computing
• Music
• PE
• RE
• Drama
• PSHE

*Design Technology consists of Food Technology, Graphics, Resistant Materials and Textiles.

**The Modern Foreign Languages taught at Millthorpe in KS3 are French and German.
