Changing rooms
FromΒ Monday 16 MayΒ examinations will be held in the gym, soΒ all students will need to change in the Sports Hall changing rooms for PE/Games lessons and sports clubsΒ until further notice.

Year 9 Carlton Lodge trip
If your child is going toΒ Carlton LodgeΒ this summer, can you please ensure that the total of Β£240 has been paid byΒ Wednesday 18Β MayΒ as advertised previously. We will be paying the venue at the end of next week so it is essential that we have all the funds paid to school by theΒ deadline please.

York Sports Awards
The York Sports Awards return to the city for the first time since 2019.Β The awards celebrate the sporting achievements of athletes of all ages and levels, coaches, administrators and volunteers during 2020 and 2021. In addition, the awards will celebrate the Community Champions who kept their communities active during what was a very difficult time for sport and wellbeing across the city.
Nominations are open now untilΒ Sunday 29 May.Β Full information about the awards can be found here.
Altered States of Consciousness talk
As part of the York Festival of Ideas, award-winning psychologist Harriet Ennis will deliver a fascinating talk with live Q&A, on Altered States of Consciousness.
The event will take place onΒ Monday 20 June, atΒ 5.45-6.45pm in theΒ Arts Centre auditoriumΒ atΒ Bootham School.
It is free to attend, butΒ tickets should be obtained via Eventbrite.

Lifesaving
The Ebor Lifesaving Club is offering the opportunity to learn lifesaving skills either through the RLSS UK Rookie Lifeguard programme for children aged 8-12 or the RLSS UK Survive programme for adults and children over 12.
