What are GCSE targets?

• Targets are expected grades your child could achieve by the end of Year 11.

• These targets are not limits – they are starting points to help motivate and guide learning.

Why do schools set targets?

How are targets used?

• Progress is shared with parents through reports, progress evenings and classcharts.

What should parents do?

• Talk to your child about their targets in a positive way – focus on effort, improvement, and good study habits.
