As Millthorpe School’s Business Manager I am responsible for the school’s finances, premises, IT, health and safety, external communications and HR.

The best thing about working at Millthorpe is definitely the people, especially the students. The variety is brilliant too, with no two days ever being the same!

I have worked at Millthorpe in this role since 2012 and it’s amazing how much the school has grown and developed in that time. I live locally, and my three sons all attend or attended Millthorpe, so it’s definitely in my interests to help make it a great place to learn, and just to be.

Before starting my role at Millthorpe, I worked in affordable housing.

In my spare time I like to read, go to the gym, swim, run and play the guitar (badly!). I have a degree in Graphic Design – Illustration, though I don’t get round to much drawing these days.
