As Assistant Principal: Deep Experience, I lead the Personal Development Curriculum, student enrichment, Student Leadership and overall student experience at Millthorpe. This includes organising events such as Culture Day, Year 11 Revision sessions and Year 5 transition events.

As my job is to ensure that students have a broad and enriching personal development experience at Millthorpe, I listen carefully to student voice to help me adapt the experiences we provide and respond to their feedback.

The best thing about Millthorpe is without doubt, the students, the staff and the community. I feel very lucky to work in such a welcoming school that prides itself on inclusivity. Millthorpe is a vibrant school with so many opportunities for students to thrive and develop their love of learning.

Prior to joining Millthorpe in 2023, I worked at a school in Leeds as an Assistant Principal leading the internal provision and I was also the Designated Safeguarding Lead.

I have a large supportive family and my most important job is being a great mum to my 3-year old daughter. I am also a passionate rugby supporter, enjoy watching league and union and I support Leeds Rhinos and Leicester Tigers. I am really excited to go and watch England’s Women’s team play in the Women’s Rugby World Cup this summer.
